Kickstarter has Launched

Hi, readers and writers!

If you didn’t see last week, I had a cover reveal of my next release and announced my Kickstarter campaign! Below is some information on Not Ready and the Kickstarter! I could use all the support I can get. And I’d love to shout out a thank you to Prolific Works for all of their help and accepting me into their crowdfunding program!

Melissa

Being an inexperienced twenty-four-year-old living for herself for the first time was not how I expected my twenties to go. Up until six months ago, I was meant to marry my high school sweetheart, but he had other plans, releasing me out into the world where I’ve never had to make my own decisions.

Somehow I was lucky enough to meet Alex. He’s sweet and responsible and he was kind enough to offer me his extra bedroom for a while. The only problem is that he’s aggressively good-looking, making my hands breaking out in a sweat anytime he’s around. I shouldn’t even entertain the idea of something happening between us because I am 100% not ready for a new relationship. We have to stay just friends.

Alex

Running my own business over the last half decade has taught me a lot about life. We’re not always guaranteed a long one, and surprises are around every corner. Seriously. Meeting Melissa was an experience I hadn’t planned, and keeping her close has somehow become important to me.

She’s lonely and sad, having just suffered a breakup, and I can be there for her. I just have to ignore the way being around her makes me feel. She’s smart, innocent, and sweet, always putting everyone else before herself. But not anymore. I’m here to get her out of her shell by leading her to new experiences. And I swear there’s nothing else going on. We’re just friends. There’s no way I’m the right man for her in the long-run.

The cover is beautiful, isn’t it? I’m excited to actually hold the proof copy in my hand in a few months when I’m finally finished with all the editing. I’ve been working on this novel for a solid two years, and I can’t wait to share Alex and Melissa’s story with you all.

Kickstarter Information

For this release, I’ll be asking for some help with crowdfunding! I’ve had the opportunity to work with Prolific Works on creating a Kickstarter campaign that’ll help me raise some money for this project. Not Ready will be the first novel in my first series! You’ll meet all kinds of wonderful characters that’ll keep you wanting to continue the series to find out if they get their own HEA.

How the Kickstarter works

• Starting April 1st, I’ll be sharing the link for the Kickstarter page. There should be some donations already from a chosen few close friends who were able to attent my launch party March 30th! If you want to participate in the launch, click here for the Facebook event! I’d love to have all the support I can get.
• My minimum goal is $500. It hardly covers a dent in the costs I put in myself to provide the best content possible for readers, but it’s still something, and it would raise my confidence in the release (ha!). Anything helps, and I’m looking forward to this release like no other!
• If I do not raise the minimum goal, everyone will get their money back, and I will receive $0 so it would be great to at least meet that minimum $500. I’ll need the help from anyone who supports my work to make a small donation if possible!
• The infographic to the right will explain each tier on my Kickstarter, so depending on how much money you donate, you will be given an ebook copy of my novel before the release date, and then more bonus content if you donate $10+!

What can you do right now?

Please share the link or social media postings. I’ll be pushing the campaign as much as possible once it launches. I only have 30 days to raise the full amount, so I’ll need all hands on deck. Please share anything you see on my social media channels to keep everyone talking and donating to the project!
