Hot Heir by Pippa Grant

Hello, readers and writers!

This novel is a semi-new release, and it’s been sitting on my TBR for a few weeks. I finally got the opportunity to read it, and I was so glad I made the time! Pippa Grant writes such funny, special characters I end up falling in love with. Her voice and character development are always strong, and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Synopsis:

Peach and Viktor could not be more opposite. She’s a country girl in her heart and mannerisms when he’s a freaking European snob. They constantly butt heads until one solution to both of their problems presents itself. Get married and make everyone believe they were in love. It won’t be simple, but it’s the only solution they have, and it’s the only thing that can change their lives for the better. Hopefully, they just don’t crash and burn.

What I Didn’t Like:

  • There honestly wasn’t anything wrong with this book. Normally, I can think of something since everything has flaws, even amazing works of art, but there isn’t much here. There was plenty of conflicts, funny scenes, serious scenes, and more!

What I Liked:

  • The characters are amazing. I love how developed they all were and each voice stood out to me. I was totally jealous of Pippa’s writing style throughout because Viktor and Peach did sound SO different, and she kept that up from beginning to end.
  • The storyline was entertaining and had many twists and turns. None of the conflicts seemed to fall out of nowhere, but there was plenty of it and plenty of scenes that had me laughing.
  • The sex scenes were very passionate. So was all the romance. I found myself rereading passages where their relationship moved forward in some way. The scenes felt necessary for story and character development.

Overall:

Absolutely amazing novel. It’ll go on my list of books I would definitely make time to read again. I need more Pippa Grant so until her next release, I’ll probably be going back and reading some of her older novels. I would recommend her to romance readers and even contemporary romance writers for analyzation. It was great.

Thank you for reading!
