Hello, readers and writers!
Today I’ll be discussing something I’ve been having a significant amount of trouble with when it comes to blogging. You’ve heard it from me often, and that’s how busy I’ve been trying to finish my undergrad degree and get prepared for life outside of college.
I mean, what is adulthood anyway?
But one of my biggest struggles has been sitting down and actually making the time to write blog content. I will try my best to write things out ahead of time and then run through two rounds of editing and proofreading before sending it out into the world, but sometimes Wednesday sneaks up on me, and a post might be lacking.
So what’s something that can be done to fix this issue?
The truth is I’m working on it. I have a handy-dandy planner that I have open throughout most of the day and week so I can look at what’s next on my agenda and what I have both time and energy for when it comes to planning out content.
Others might be dealing with the same issue, and the most important thing to keep in mind is that it’s really not the end of the world if you miss something or make a mistake in the beginning. I’m relatively new to blogging, and I’m making this whole writing thing work completely on my own, so it’s going to take some tinkering and failing to finally get things on track.
How am I going to change things from here on out?
I’m going to attempt to lessen some of my workloads. I’ve forgotten to utilize wonderful stock photo websites like Pexels that will help with adding wonderful graphics to my posts. I won’t have to concentrate so much on being a photographer and graphic designer as well as a writer since writing is the true passion I have, and it’s what I’m best at.
My reviews have fallen behind a bit, but I’ve decided to start reposting some of my older reviews. They may have already been posted, but a novel is a novel and it deserves exposure. Don’t worry, though, new reviews will be coming soon as well!
Fixing up my old posts will start happening as well. I want all of my content to grow as I learn more about having an online persona and running a blog smoothly. Any other struggling bloggers out there? Tell me what your goals are! Links are definitely okay to put in the comments!
Thank you for reading!
What is something I’m working on now?
- Attempting to raise money for my next WIP, so please donate if you’d like.
- Creating new and engaging content, but I’m totally down for accepting any guest bloggers, especially people who are new to the game. Just contact me.
- Adding more people to my reader’s group on Facebook. It’s a fun place where we can talk reading, writing, men, relationships, and more! Check it out here.
Until next time 🙂
